Jodi is a sustainable brand where I worked as a graphic designer. These prints were developed using traditional Indian block printing techniques, combining heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design. The process moves between digital and analogue—designs are first created digitally for precision, then hand-traced and carved into wooden blocks, with each colour requiring a separate block. To allow for flexibility, these prints are designed with adaptable layers, making it easy to add, remove, or change elements. A simple shift in layering or colour can transform the entire look and feel of a garment. Since the printing is done by hand, each piece carries slight variations, embracing the imperfections that make the craft unique.
